Earth Day

Today we talked about ways we can help our Earth!

In doing so we also talked about flowers.  This pair is measuring themselves in flower packets.

 

Some thought it would be easier to measure on the table! :)

Yep, we made dirty cake...the teacher decided she better taste it first! :)

We also made the Earth and wrote how we can make it better....we will post a picture after we are all finished!

A "Buggy" kind of day

After learning about bugs the past days.  We made our own bugs.  Each bug had to have the "required" parts.  They each had to have 3 body parts, 6 legs, and antennae.  They kids did AWESOME

After we created our bugs, we checked eachothers to make sure they had the required parts!

A busy day!

Today we such a busy day.  We are having lots of fun learning about bugs and plants.  Here is somethings that we have made.  We labeled plants and also made praying manthis'. 
Today we learned about fireflies and made some to fly at night.

And then.....we started painting our backdrop for our play....it is a BIG job!

Lots of teamwork!

we got to go barefoot because we didn't want feet prints on the backdrop!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Spring Flower Fun

We learned about flowers and the important things they need to survive and grow. 


We drew cool flowers...

 

then we got to water color them!

Mrs. Timmerman even got in the action! :)

Fun with Bugs

We had fun learning about bugs.  We watched baby praying mantis'.  They hatched from an egg case! Theywere lots and lots of them.


We made a chart about bugs...

Miss Zimmerman did a lesson about addition.  We had to go on an egg hunt and find addition problems.  It was a lot of fun!

 

 

A Special Visitor!

Thursday, there was a knock at the door...

A kinder Kid answered the door in amazement.... 

told the other kids and we were off to follow the trail!
