8 is for Spiders

Today we learned all about spiders and the number 8! We had fun counting to 8...and what do you know, there are 8 legs on a spider.


We painted our hands like spiders.  Grandma loves to help!

We also worked hard to label the different parts of a spider.

And...we made 8 legs on a spider.

It was a fun day, with lots of spider fun!

It's Fire Safety Week

Wow....we had a GREAT day! We had a day full of fire safety fun.  We made fun fire station hats.

We also made fun fire trucks.

We rode on the bus to the fire station.  It was the first trip for many of us. 

We watched a puppet show.

It was sooooo funny!

We lounged in the fire stations living room, it was cozy!

We crawled LOW out of the bedroom!

 

Look at us...we are in a fire truck!

 

It was a great day....THANK YOU fire fighters!

We are working together and sharing!

We work together...it's starting to be a common thing to see.
It is so fun to hear kind words!

We are learning so much

Wow, the kids were excited with the fun Halloween things that were around the room. This kinder wrote I see the little witch.  Wow, we are writing sentences!

We talked about the similarities and differences between pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns.

At centers, we are having A LOT of fun making headbands.
