Apples, apples....we started apples!

Today we started our apple unit.  It was a lot of fun!  We painted our hands to look like an apple for our quilt.


Then we made applessauce.  We all waited VERY patiently for our turn to cut and core our apple. 


It was so much fun....

Thanks to this family we had PLENTY of apples for our applesauce.  We will also have fun with the apples in other ways this week!

As this little guy would say every time someone started to peel their apple..."Let it rip!" :) You gotta love kindergarten!

We also tasted different types of apples and then voted for our favorite kind.  Green won by 2 people.

Then it was time to eat our YUMMY applesauce.  We have some very good cooks in KT!
